About The Job
In this role, you will play a crucial part in Roche AB’s collaboration with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the prioritized area of breast cancer. Healthcare is evolving with personalized treatments, patient empowerment, diverse information channels, resource constraints, and budget pressures. This evolution demands that we understand and address patient journey barriers to enhance the value of our medicines and solutions for patients and the healthcare system.

You will join the Healthcare Partnering Competence Center at Roche AB in Sweden, reporting to the Healthcare Partnering Leader. You will work alongside a skilled team of Patient Journey Partners, Scientific Evidence Partners, and Patient Partners dedicated to delivering value to patients and the healthcare system.

Role Goals:

  • Partnership and Innovation: As a PJP, you will partner with HCPs to innovate and implement sustainable healthcare solutions, ensuring better outcomes for patients, the ecosystem, and Roche
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Act as the external face of Roche, working closely with all HCPs involved in the patient journey to understand their needs and build mutual opportunities
  • Integrated Role: This position is embedded in the local ecosystem and is functionally agnostic, transcending traditional roles like Commercial/Sales or Medical Affairs

Responsibilities
The PJP is a senior level role within the affiliate, who is accountable for optimizing patient access and demand for Roche disease area solutions through:

  • Acting as a trusted partner and the primary point of contact (PPOC) between stakeholders and Roche. The PJP shares the patient and stakeholder community needs internally, prioritizes and drives solutions that deliver outcomes faster
  • Having an extensive external network across the patient journey, being the trusted partner in the disease area that the external experts regularly want to connect with to be able to execute and take accountability for creating patient access and demand
  • Collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external HCPs to remove roadblocks and unlock possibilities to deliver value for patients and the community
  • Guiding Roche’s products through their lifecycle and supporting their appropriate use, which includes sharing the value proposition with HCPs in a candid and balanced manner
  • Ensuring great experiences whenever stakeholders in the ecosystem engage with Roche employees, products and services
