We are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer and the responsibility covers building global sales and marketing excellence, hiring talent worldwide, as well as setting up distribution and collaboration networks. In this role, relevant experience is the key to success. You should have a background in European or global commercial roles. Fluent English is a prerequisite.The company has a patented technology proving major medical benefit for Neuro- and ENT-surgeons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Head of S&M and customer service operations
- S&M strategy and budget
- S&M team building & HR
- KOL relationships
- Monitoring market trends o Technology o Competition o Pricing
- Market positioning of products
- Product presentations & demonstrations
- Distributor relationships
- Helps to develop new products & identify uses for existing products
- Management team work & meetings
- Reporting to the CEO
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-10 years of S&M management experience in the medical device industry in the EU or US o >10 years of experience preferred o SME experience preferred
- Management experience from a medical device company
- Experience with building markets for new medical technology solutions in the EU / US o Experience in orthopedics, spine, or neurosurgery preferred o Power tools experience preferred
- Team building experience
- Flexibility to travel o Residing in or relocating to Northern Europe preferred
- Excellent English skills o Other European language skills (such as German and French) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree o Master’s (or higher) degree preferred
