Head Finance & Administration - Nässjö/Jönköping

We are looking for a Head Finace & Administration to the Swedish subsidiary to a Danish group. The Swedish subsidiary is located between .ässjö and Jönköping and has about 50 emplyees.

Role reflecting the need to add additional KEY competences to the team and a strong desire to significantly strengthen financial controlling and support

The person will be a key business partner / sparring partner to the local sales director (day-2-day head of the Swedish company) as well as all the functional leads in Sweden, but also for Group CEO and Group CFO based in DK

She/he will have a significant role which in strengthening business insights, structures, processes and controls in Sweden. Success criteria to define and implement solid and transparent structures and processes which are in sync with group guidelines and processes. Note – the role is also able to influence group processes 

The role is able to influence things and is going to play an important part in the development and the successful and sustainable growth of the Swedish company

The role which is not just about operating an already well-defined set-up – on the contrary the role is enabling the candidate to create the company’s infrastructure an setting a significant foot print as to how to do things in a structured manner. I.e. the role will be challenging as-is and current habits, driving the design and implementation of solid processes relating to all financial aspects

Owing all finance matters as to Swedish company (including cost controlling, internal reporting and accounting), supported by colleagues at other corporate sites

Ensuring processes that support proper dataquality 

Handling admin matters in close corporation with group functions (e.g. insurances, leasing, banks, HR, lawyers etc.) 

A very visible role with a lot of touch points in Sweden as well as with colleagues outside of Sweden

Opportunities for taken on group level tasks/responsibilities and for participating in group level projects and initiatives once processes and structures in Sweden have been strengthened

Member of the Swedish management team

Requirements

Solid collaboration and communication skills – able to build relations at all levels and coorporate with colleagues abroad as well as locally

Able to challenge local organization, stand firm and drive change on one hand and on the other hand able to represent / speak the Expedit Sweden case towards colleagues outside of Sweden

Robust person who is able to prioritize and handle changes

Hands-on working attitude

Structured and motivated by creating structure and continuous improvement

Able to balance daily operations with continuous improvement and development, opting to improve processes and structure (including automating processes)

Motivated by a broad role with a wide range of tasks/areas of involvement

Motivated by individual responsibility for the Swedish company

Motivated by driving financial initiatives and improvements in support of the business strategy

Experience with cost controlling and accounting

Experience with project controlling and accounting would be an advantage

Experience with sales controlling, profitability and other financial analysis as well as internal reporting

Experience with KPI development and reporting

Solid analytical skills

Experience from working in an international company

Solid IT skills (Excel, MS Office in general, BI tools and ERP) 

Financial degree at master or at least bachelor level, combined with solid work experience as Financial Controller, Finance manager or the like. Alternatively, a background from an audit company

Language – fluent in Swedish and English (spoken as well as written)
