For a client we are searching for a Distribution Manager for the Asia Pacific region. The region is expected to grow by 30% each year.
We are seeking a person that is both business minded and skilled at building strong relationships. Candidates should have sales experience, preferably with scientific instruments. The main responsibility in this position will be to handle, support and drive business together with the local distributers.
General Responsibilities:
Establish outstanding relationships with distribution partners.
Travel to and support distributors in Asia and Pacific (up to 40-50% travel)
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
Bring knowledge to distributors and feed market information back to sales, marketing and R&D.
Ensure that the product portfolio is at the “top of mind” of our distributors.
Facilitating successful negotiations between: 1) end- costumer, 2) distributors 3) and company.
Education and Experience:
Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
Sales experience
Qualifications and Competencies:
5 -10 years of work experience
Experience as a sales professional, preferably with scientific laboratory equipment
Independent, proactive and self-driven
Strong and proven relationship builder
Ability to master and communicate scientifically advanced information
Fluent in English – written and verbal
Initiate and conduct business travel to Asia and Pacific region
