We are looking for a Public Affairs Manager who will take the responsibility to build the PA team at a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company active in the Nordics. The assignment is on a interim basis until end of the year but the successful candidate may be hired on a permanent basis.
The company is entering a business critical period of late stage product development, pre- and post launch activities.
Public Affairs plays a critical role supporting the organisation in preparing markets by engaging in non-product dialogue linked to the companys priority and specialty product areas. This includes all dialogue, positioning and advocacy activities linked to definable policy/business goals exemplified by initiated activities within health and diseases management.
Based on identified needs and to support European objectives, key responsibilities will include:
Internally
# Assist in building and executing a local public affairs strategy, aligned to business priorities
# Design, lead and management of the implementation of Public Affairs plans/projects in the Nordics
# Provide expert counsel to the European organisation and identify specific actions related to opportunities and threats presented by local national policies
# Assist in creating an engagement program at the Nordics country level to meet and engage with senior health and policy officials in central and local governments.
Externally
# Identify key policy, health care stakeholders and interest groups
# Develop, engage and manage strong networks with key external stakeholders to support company priorities
# Engage and build trust with a range of senior level stakeholders to identify opportunities for mutually beneficial solutions
