We are currently looking for a high-potential to establish a new organization for System Design Operating Systems at one of the leading Telecom vendors in the world. The company is characterized by speed, results and a genuine respect for knowledge.
As a Senior Manager you will be responsible to build and establish an organization located in Stockholm working internationally and with all product lines. The scope of the organization is, amongst others, to perform pre-studies, feasibility-studies, conceptual design and architecture of Operating Systems, contribute to entities like Linux Foundation and standardization activities as well as communicate with customers.
You need to be an expert in Operating Systems and have a thorough interest in the latest trends and in development - be highly competent in the lower layers of the software stack; real-time operating systems, multi-core/many-core architecture with smooth migration, resource virtualization, high availavailability middleware and O&M. You have more than ten years of working-experience with IT vendor, Telco vendor or alike. You deliver high quality on time and are an excellent communicator.
