What Abilia offer

Abilia is on a growth journey, aiming to expand further in to new segments in the home markets as well as internationally. The CMO will be part of the management team setting the direction of the company. Your assignment is to position the company as a thought leader in cognition in the converging market of health and care by conveying insights, develop marketing strategies to create long-term growth, demand and generate business opportunities for all markets and segments. You will drive a central marketing organization with a team of five colleagues. You will work closely with the whole management team, our market units as well as the strategic portfolio management.

 

Main areas of responsibilities:

  • Position Abilia as a thought leader in Cognition in a converging market of care and health
  • Drive Abilia brand external and internal
  • Build awareness and generate demand by optimizing the mix of communication channels
  • Broaden our content creation to become attractive to new and existing customers and to different target audiences. 
  • Get a broader reach in markets by leveraging a digital approach, through inbound marketing and supporting sales by conversion from Marketing Qualified Lead to Sales Qualified Lead.
  • Product marketing to build demand for new and existing products and services
  • Drive a few key major events in different markets
  • Internal communication and support HR to build a position as an attractive employer within medtech industry

Abilia is looking for a confident and business-minded leader, skilled in opening new markets and facilitating market entry with the right marketing strategy. To be successful you will need to drive cross-functional teams and projects. With a strategic mindset, you have the ability to acquire market and customer insights and transfer those into marketing strategies that create awareness, generate leads and new business opportunities. If you have worked in the medtech industry that is a plus.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in marketing, business administration or similar
  • X+ years’ experience from different marketing positions, preferably in a product company
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Capacity to work both on a strategic as well as an operative level
  • Understanding how to build marketing strategies to the public sector in Sweden and Norway as well as internationally
  • Comprehensive background in B2B-marketing
  • Familiar with the full marketing toolbox
  • Fluency in English and Swedish (written and spoken) is a prerequisite.
