Member of the affiliate Senior Leadership Team, with the objective of representing Ethics and Compliance and assisting the Managing Director (MD) in ensuring the affiliate and its Third Party Agents and Partners meet appropriate standards of professional and business conduct and providing the appropriate advice and counsel on all ethics & compliance related matters.
The position of the Ethics and Compliance Lead will be responsible for:
o Driving the Affiliate’s staff awareness and understanding of their obligations to operate within the country’s prevailing laws and regulations, as well as Company Global and European compliance policies and ethical standards.
o Maintaining appropriate governance and controls over the legal, ethical and medical compliance risks associated with the Affiliate’s business activities, protecting against unethical, illegal or improper conduct, whilst enabling the achievement of commercial and medical objectives.
o Chairing the Company´s Local Compliance Committee.
o Responsible for Data Protection.
o Representing the Company at the relevant industry forums within the local Healthcare Compliance Community and responsible for ensuring relevant external insights are shared promptly within the entity.
Additionally, will be Key contact and responsible for the implementation, monitoring and development of the Affiliate’s compliance program in alignment with the strategy set by the European Ethics and Compliance team.
Background/Experiences
o Graduate science/business/law degree
o 5+ years in an ethics & compliance role
o Experience in both Corporate and Healthcare Compliance
o EFPIA Code and Nordics Code knowledge
o Effective and influential written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence at all levels.
o Strong leadership skills to manage variety of situations dealing with very different stakeholders.
o Project management mindset
o Experience in conflict resolution
o Strategic thinker with attention for detail
o Collaborative, with high emotional intelligence
o Solution focused, pragmatic
