We offer a very attractive position as Senior Technical Leader – Transceiver System Design, in a very dynamic and fast growing organization. The company is characterized by speed, results and a genuine respect for knowledge.
The Senior Technical Leader is an essential part of the company´s Radio Frequency (RF) Team and is expected to be influential also when it comes to processes and methodology globally. It is essential to have a strong sense and interest for development and technology trends.
The position includes, but is not limited to, tasks such as;
ü To lead and point out direction and strategy for the area comprising the complete RF module
ü Transceiver architecture design and specification for multi-standard and multi-carrier Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) for all wireless communication standards, e.g.; GSM, WCDMA, LTE
ü To lead and perform technical studies and evaluations of emerging technologies for implementation in future transceivers
ü Strategic technology and transceiver architecture planning
ü Development of prototypes
ü To identify, setup, lead and participate in Joint Research projects with Universities and External Partners
Profile of Candidate
We are looking for a technically highly skilled Senior Technical Leader with expertise in Transceiver Systems (GSM, WCDMA and LTE).
ü More than ten years of experience in Transceiver System Design, both analogue and digital, including Radio Frequency hardware and/or algorithm development
ü Proven knowledge of Transceiver Radio Frequency systems and digital signal processing
ü Experience from working with Transceiver, Receiver, Control system and Antenna in the Radio Base Station
ü An extensive experience in using MatLab and simulation tools such as MWO and ADS
ü Extensive knowledge of moving from analogue to digital design
ü Proven knowledge and experience in Radio Base Station system design and design
ü Good knowledge of standards and technology in the wireless product arena
ü Knowledge in technologies and concepts in the area(s) of; Phase-Locked-Loops (PLL), Power Amplifiers (PA), duplexers, high speed converters, crest factor reduction, digital pre-distortion, digital IF processing, baseband processing, smart antennas and/or Software Defined Radio (SDR)
ü An understanding of how to work in a distributed and multicultural environment
Apart from the technical qualifications - you need to be an excellent communicator, an industry specialist and a good team-player with great analytical skills. You need to have a high degree of personal maturity, independence and drive.
Education/Experience
ü Degree in Computer science or equivalent
ü Minimum ten years of experience within Transceiver System Design and wireless telecom systems
ü Very good knowledge in spoken and written English
ü Very good knowledge in relevant processes and how to apply them
