Business Unit Director Neurologi - Stockholm

Vi söker en affärsorienterad och driven chef till ett specialistföretag som har en verksamhet omfattande läkemedel för behandling av neurologiska åkommor. Marknadsföringen riktar sig huvudsakligen mot neurologer.

We are searching for a Business Unit Director for the Neuroscience Business unit. The appointed individual will lead and manage the Nordic Neurolosciences Sales team to obtain sales and profit goals through the execution of strategic and tactical plans. The Business Unit Director will report to the Vice President, with a dotted line into the Nordics Country Manager. The Nordics Neurosciences BU will also be a core member of the Neurosciences Leadership Team which is the key forum for regional strategy development, planning and coordination.

The team

The Nordics team currently includes a National sales manager (direct report), 7 Product Specialists and a Key Account Manager (direct report). There are likely to be significant opportunities to expand this team post approval of the new indications within the next few months. The Nordics team also includes 2 Regional Scientific Services (RSS) managers and a local reimsbursement and access team. A Nordics Product and Promotion (P&P) manager also works closely with the Nordics BUD to plan and coordinate local marketing efforts.

The result of the business unit is to accomplish product sales growth for the company. The individual will be measured on the growth of company product sales.

Principal Challenges

The Nordics BUD role is a challenging but fascinating one. The incoming BUD will need to address significant competitive challenges for the current core business in Denmark, Finland and Norway while also planning and executing breakout growth launches in exciting new therapeutic markets.

Key Duties and responsibilities

· Financial objectives – responsible for the business P&L with direct efforts to attain/exceed quarterly sales and profit targets, agree on proposed sales forecasts, mange country sales expense according to targets. (40 %)

· People management – acquire, develop and retain talent. Recruit, train and develop the team. High emphasis on effective sales team performance (25 %).

· Leads local marketing and promotional strategy in collaboration with regional marketing in UK. Develops and proposes local promotional strategy in line with regional business and product objectives and strategies. Executes agreed business plans to ensure product and business performance. Participates in regular regional leadership team activities (NLT) providing input into strategy development. Execution of European programs. Implements local programs to capture specific market opportunities. (25%)

· Maintain and development of key opinion leaders. Identifies and develops local key opinion leaders to build and consolidate their support and advocacy of the products and improve company image. (10 %)
