For an international company based in Gothenburg we are currently searching for a ”Director of Sales”. The company is establishing a new In-house sales function, consolidating all customer related issues and support in one department, allowing the sales team in the different regions to focus on sales and customer interactions. Since the In-house sales function is new, you shall establish processes and methods to effectively support both direct sales functions and the distributer network. The in-house sales function responsibilities will include sales support, forecast, quotations and tenders, field service, exhibitions, training & education, customer support etc.
As a Director of Sales you will lead the In-house sales function that consist off ~8 people with a spread both in function and geography.
The company product portfolio consists of advanced analytical instruments. To succeed in this function, we believe that you have a technical understanding and likely a master in technology of science or 5-10 years of previous experience from working with analytical instruments. Previous leadership experience is desired. Fluent in English.
